Dragon Cup Kumite  | We had a fantastic training seminar this past weekend with lots of new friends and true Kyokushin Spirit! We were a total of 150 participants. From 5 different Dojos within the Sweden Kyokushin Union. ( from the west coast of Sweden ) One of the Dojos was also from the Matsushima group. It was a seminar for children and youths. To develop their kumite. We covered everything from movements, footwork, counter attacks , and pure strengthening and kumite exercises. On Sunday it was time for the Dragons cup. We had 88 matches in total , where Molndals Funakoshi was the most successful Dojo this time. 1-3rd places and also prize for the best boy and girl fighter of the tournament. After this weekend our kids has found new friends and we all trained like one big Kyokushin Family. The sempai and Sensei from the other Dojos sends their “osu” and respect to you Hanshi. |
